[00:01:42] Everybody say hello and welcome back to The John Cash Show Universe, the White Wesley Pipes.
[00:01:54] How have you been? It's been a while.
[00:01:57] It's been a while. I'm good. How about you?
[00:02:00] How was your week?
[00:02:02] Quiet?
[00:02:03] Quiet?
[00:02:04] Yeah.
[00:02:04] This week?
[00:02:05] Yeah.
[00:02:05] Quiet?
[00:02:06] Pretty quiet.
[00:02:08] I don't know.
[00:02:11] You sure about that?
[00:02:14] Plug in my ears, maybe.
[00:02:16] Oh, okay. Maybe that's why it's quiet.
[00:02:19] Okay.
[00:02:20] My week was far from quiet, but we'll get into that a little bit later.
[00:02:24] You can find me on social media, on IG at The John Cash Show, on TikTok at The John Cash Show Podcast,
[00:02:31] on Facebook, John Cash, and on X at underscore John Cash.

[00:02:43] Sorry. Ask for advice, or you can even send an email for feedback at thejohncashshow at gmail.com.
[00:02:52] Just a little disclaimer. The past few days, I've been, I don't know what the hell, I guess,
[00:02:58] is the change of the weather. One day it's 80 degrees, the next day it's 40.
[00:03:02] I don't have a cold, but definitely my voice starts rattling after maybe three or four minutes of talking.
[00:03:12] So you'll probably hear me clear my throat a lot and not in the Kim Kardashian way.
[00:03:22] Here we go.
[00:03:24] Before we get into this show, we here at The John Cash Show Podcast would like to extend our condolences
[00:03:31] to the loved ones of iconic actor Tony Todd.
[00:03:34] He was best known for his role as the original Candyman.
[00:03:38] He passed away this past week at the age of 69 due to natural causes based off of preliminary reports.
[00:03:46] And also, condolences go out to the loved ones of legendary music and television show producer Quincy Jones,
[00:03:54] who passed away at the age of 91.
[00:03:57] He was responsible for some of the biggest songs in history, including, but not limited to,
[00:04:04] Thriller, Wanna Be Starting Something.
[00:04:07] What else?
[00:04:08] Bad.
[00:04:09] Bad.
[00:04:10] Off the Wall.
[00:04:12] Off the Wall.
[00:04:13] Don't Stop Till You Get Enough.
[00:04:15] Dirty Diana.
[00:04:19] It's My Party.
[00:04:22] The Way You Make Me Feel.
[00:04:24] It was a lot.
[00:04:25] It was a lot.
[00:04:26] And if I'm not mistaken, he was also responsible for the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
[00:04:32] Right?
[00:04:33] I know he appeared on one episode.
[00:04:35] I remember that episode.
[00:04:37] Yeah.
[00:04:38] Could be a little.
[00:04:39] Look, back in the day, a lot of people was responsible for a lot.
[00:04:45] You didn't hear about it until after they died.
[00:04:48] So definitely our condolences go out to those respective families.
[00:04:54] May they rest in peace.
[00:04:56] Now, let's talk about the people.
[00:05:02] This past Tuesday, America once again showed its ass.
[00:05:08] For the second time, Donald Trump has been elected the president of the United States of America.
[00:05:18] And what could be considered disappointing?
[00:05:22] Truth be told, deep down, a lot of people knew it would be Trump winning.
[00:05:27] But what was shocking for me, at least, was the fact that it was so decisively.
[00:05:41] Trump had, at last check, 295 electoral votes to Kamala Harris's 226 electoral votes.
[00:05:53] And as of Friday, November the 8th, Trump had 73 million votes, over 73 million votes.
[00:06:03] And Kamala Harris had over 69 million votes.
[00:06:06] However, Trump swept all of the quote unquote swing states.
[00:06:15] Truth be told, it was a gut punch, to be honest.
[00:06:20] I went to sleep on election night because very rarely over the past 25 years,
[00:06:26] you could say that the presidential election was called early, right?
[00:06:29] Let alone on the same night.
[00:06:32] So, I think I speak for most millennials when I say I'm not comfortable on election night going to sleep.
[00:06:42] Because back in 2000, Al Gore was the president when we went to sleep.
[00:06:46] And then when we woke up, George Bush was president.
[00:06:51] And it was like that for like five or six weeks.
[00:06:56] I don't remember 2000.
[00:06:58] It was definitely a dragged out situation.
[00:07:06] It was like, okay, I'm not going to sleep.
[00:07:10] I don't like this feeling ever again.
[00:07:13] So, the only two elections I would say that weren't drawn out were the two Obama elections.
[00:07:22] Back in 2008 and 2012.
[00:07:25] I know, if I remember correctly, and I know y'all will definitely correct me if I'm wrong.
[00:07:35] Obama had over 320 electoral votes, both elections, I believe.
[00:07:43] I know he was, you could look that up.
[00:07:46] I know he was very popular with the Hope logo and the Yes We Can slogan.
[00:07:53] I know he's very popular with that.
[00:07:57] So, that was the only two elections, right?
[00:08:00] As you're checking that.
[00:08:02] But, as I said, I went and took my ass in the house election night.
[00:08:09] I did the early voting.
[00:08:10] I voted the Saturday before election day.
[00:08:13] And I went to sleep.
[00:08:16] So, I woke up around, I want to say, at 1240 a.m.
[00:08:22] Prepared to stay up all night and watch this race play out.
[00:08:27] And I checked my social media when I woke up.
[00:08:30] And it was a lot of disappointment on my timeline.
[00:08:33] A lot.
[00:08:35] And I said, shit, I don't even want to check.
[00:08:38] I don't even want to check.
[00:08:40] So, I did check CNN.com.
[00:08:45] And I saw that Trump was ahead by quite a bit.
[00:08:47] And they were just waiting on Pennsylvania at the time.
[00:08:52] And I want to say maybe an hour or two later that they eventually called Pennsylvania.
[00:09:02] They projected Pennsylvania and the race to Donald Trump.
[00:09:08] So, Walter.
[00:09:12] Wesley Pipes.
[00:09:15] What say you?
[00:09:17] Like, how did you feel after the election?
[00:09:22] How did you feel after the results?
[00:09:25] Um, I don't know.
[00:09:26] I never really got too political.
[00:09:29] Oh, okay.
[00:09:30] So, Josh would have been in here having a whole, Josh Fauci would have had a whole pie chart.
[00:09:35] To be continued with Josh.
[00:09:38] And they'd be like, okay, let me just step out.
[00:09:40] You can take over for the rest of the segment.
[00:09:42] I could call them in.
[00:09:47] So, what do you think is going to happen now that it's a Senate majority, a House majority,
[00:09:55] and the Supreme Court majority, and Trump in the White House as of January the 20th?
[00:10:05] I don't think, I don't know.
[00:10:08] I don't think my life would change too much.
[00:10:10] Yeah.
[00:10:11] Hopefully.
[00:10:12] I mean, that's fair.
[00:10:13] Figures crossed.
[00:10:14] I mean, that's fair.
[00:10:15] I mean, you know, I know whose lives will change, and that's the immigrants.
[00:10:23] They've already announced that on day one they're going to do mass deportation.
[00:10:28] I'm like, well, here goes the shit.
[00:10:32] Here starts the shit.
[00:10:33] Yeah.
[00:10:37] So, I just know Trump, he had checks and balances his first term.
[00:10:47] For the next, I want to say, 23 months, 24 months, depending on how the midterm elections shake out, he's going to have a clear runway.
[00:11:00] Because he has a majority with most of, well, all of the Supreme Court justices, except for, I believe, one, which is Ketanji.
[00:11:10] They were installed prior to his first, well, during his first term, I want to say.
[00:11:22] Except for Clarence Thomas and the guy that was John Roberts, Sonia Sotomayor.
[00:11:30] I mean, he was able to appoint three Supreme Court justices, which is very rare.
[00:11:38] And you see how it's played out.
[00:11:41] Presidents have full immunity now.
[00:11:44] So, reports have stated that they are suspending or throwing out his cases.
[00:11:57] So, state-wise, they're suspending the cases federal.
[00:12:02] They're throwing them out.
[00:12:05] So, already, you're seeing things play out.
[00:12:10] Gotta wonder if it plays out that way for a certain New York City mayor.
[00:12:17] Who's starting to suck up to Trump.
[00:12:20] Talking about, we have to work with Trump.
[00:12:22] We have to...
[00:12:24] I was like, oh, okay.
[00:12:25] You didn't have this energy before.
[00:12:27] But, okay.
[00:12:28] That's cute now.
[00:12:31] But, yeah.
[00:12:32] Now, let me say this.
[00:12:34] Kamala, it's no shame in running and making history, even though you didn't win.
[00:12:40] So, hold your crown.
[00:12:43] Now, pivoting to the Democrats.
[00:12:47] I want to say the Democrats are, for lack of a better word, a bunch of pussies.
[00:12:55] Donald Trump has spent...
[00:12:57] And you're seeing that smirk?
[00:12:58] I see that smirk on your face.
[00:13:00] They are.
[00:13:01] Donald Trump has spent the last decade, give or take, insulting damn near everyone, including his supporters.
[00:13:10] But they don't shy away from him.
[00:13:13] I'm a registered Democrat myself.
[00:13:16] And I'm disappointed that when it was surrounding a woman, the discourse, when it was surrounding a woman, combining the over 60 years of experience in law and politics with the two women that Trump beat.
[00:13:36] Let's not forget.
[00:13:38] Let's not forget.
[00:13:38] Trump is a reality show host.
[00:13:43] Reality TV show host.
[00:13:45] Okay?
[00:13:47] Hillary Clinton, help write legislature.
[00:13:50] Kamala Harris, help write legislature.
[00:13:55] And he ran against them.
[00:13:58] And he actually beat them.
[00:14:06] I knew deep down that America wouldn't vote for a black woman.
[00:14:12] Especially if they didn't vote for a white woman who was the epitome of politics and Hillary Clinton.
[00:14:17] So.
[00:14:20] And now all you have these think pieces as to why Trump won again.
[00:14:25] You hear about the immigration, which everybody was complaining about, both the Democrats and the Republicans, the economy, transgender rights, etc., etc.
[00:14:36] And quite frankly, I blame the Democrats because they did not prepare anyone that can appeal to the majority of Americans in a national election.
[00:14:47] Ever since President Obama left office, no Democratic presidential nominee has had a unified outpouring of support.
[00:14:59] You had Hillary Clinton, who was dogged by the super predator comments from years prior to her campaign.
[00:15:06] You had Joe Biden with the crime bill.
[00:15:09] He was dogged by that.
[00:15:10] His Senate record.
[00:15:12] Also, don't forget about that comment with, I believe it was Charlemagne.
[00:15:17] If you don't vote for me, then you aren't black.
[00:15:21] Which almost damn near derailed his whole presidential campaign back in 2020.
[00:15:26] And now Kamala Harris with her record as an attorney general and senator in California.
[00:15:33] Now.
[00:15:34] The Democrats have to go back to the drawing board.
[00:15:38] And get in touch with reality.
[00:15:41] No longer.
[00:15:43] Yes, it was cool.
[00:15:44] Obama had the rock stars.
[00:15:46] He had the celebrities.
[00:15:49] He had the actors.
[00:15:50] He had all of these influential people.
[00:15:54] But you got to go back to the drawing board and get back to the working class.
[00:16:02] Stacey Abrams, Wes Moore, Hakeem Jeffries should be heavily utilizing meetings with DNC to revamp campaigns.
[00:16:12] Because it's a disconnect.
[00:16:15] It's a disconnect.
[00:16:16] Somewhere.
[00:16:18] I don't have the answers.
[00:16:19] I don't run for politics.
[00:16:22] I don't run.
[00:16:23] I'm just saying.
[00:16:24] From the outside looking in, there has to be a disconnect somewhere.
[00:16:27] You don't have the answers, Sway?
[00:16:28] No, I don't have the answers.
[00:16:30] I don't have the answers.
[00:16:33] But somebody should.
[00:16:36] In terms of how can we run against such a person that is quite unqualified?
[00:16:53] His whole cabinet did not support this re-election term.
[00:16:59] His whole first cabinet didn't support this re-election term.
[00:17:03] How can we let him beat us?
[00:17:09] They were just so focused on Trump is bad, Trump is bad, Trump is bad.
[00:17:14] And they weren't actually outlining the policies that helped the American people.
[00:17:23] So, yeah, you're saying Trump is bad.
[00:17:25] But if he's going to McDonald's and dropping fries.
[00:17:30] To people who aren't on top of politics.
[00:17:34] It's like, oh, okay.
[00:17:35] He seems to be pretty good.
[00:17:39] It's all about the illusion.
[00:17:44] I don't know.
[00:17:45] I don't know.
[00:17:45] I mean, you got to be some sort of fucked up for George Bush not to endorse you.
[00:17:53] He did not come out and endorse Trump.
[00:17:56] I didn't know.
[00:17:57] Either times.
[00:17:58] Either times he ran.
[00:18:00] And I'm also sick of this bullshit.
[00:18:02] When they go low, we go high.
[00:18:04] No.
[00:18:05] Go to the depths of hell.
[00:18:09] See, that's why I choke.
[00:18:12] God knew.
[00:18:13] He was like, no.
[00:18:14] You're healing.
[00:18:16] Yes, I'm healing, but I'm not healed.
[00:18:17] There's a difference.
[00:18:19] I'm not healed.
[00:18:20] Just yet.
[00:18:21] So, when they go low, we go to the depths of hell.
[00:18:26] That's it.
[00:18:28] It's dogfight.
[00:18:29] Dogfight.
[00:18:30] Dogwalk that ass.
[00:18:32] Dogwalk that ass.
[00:18:34] So, I mean, to me, I'm just going to say I'm divinely guided and protected.
[00:18:41] It's been too much shit in my life that I've been protected from, shielded from.
[00:18:47] I've been blessed to not be a part of certain things.
[00:18:52] But I'm also shuddering at the thought of what could possibly occur over the next couple of years and next four years.
[00:19:02] We could be looking at an economy like the Great Recession with George Bush back in 2008 when Obama, President Obama, sorry, inherited the economy.
[00:19:17] And it was in complete shambles.
[00:19:21] Shout out to the stimulus package back then.
[00:19:23] It was like, I think, $300.
[00:19:27] $300 or $500.
[00:19:28] It wasn't $1,200, but it was something, something.
[00:19:34] And before I log off, I'm going to get to final thoughts.
[00:19:43] This is a world record.
[00:19:45] How long is this episode so far?
[00:19:48] This is a world record.
[00:19:50] It's probably about $20.
[00:19:52] Okay, well, all right.
[00:19:55] Let me just say this.
[00:19:58] Black women, y'all are the shit.
[00:20:00] You are the most often to be the front line and ally to the underserved, the less fortunate, the disenfranchised segments of society.
[00:20:10] You are greatness personified.
[00:20:12] And unfortunately, the country and most of the world can't see that right now.
[00:20:17] Unfortunately, you have to be twice as good to get half of what others get.
[00:20:22] Is it fair?
[00:20:23] No.
[00:20:24] Is it right?
[00:20:25] No.
[00:20:25] That's the causes that have been dealt this lifetime.
[00:20:29] I just want to say, don't stop being great.
[00:20:32] Don't stop being divine.
[00:20:33] Don't stop being goddesses because you are enough.
[00:20:38] And this is John Cash and I'm out.
[00:20:43] Yo, listen to John Cash.
[00:20:46] You are the one.
